A rare February tornado briefly touched down on the far north side of Naperville Monday morning, the National Weather Service said.
A trained spotter reported the tornado at about 9:56 a.m. near the Herrick Lake Forest Preserve. The weather service confirmed the tornado after surveying the damage.
