The numbers of COVID-19 cases and deaths at Will County nursing homes grew as three more facilities were added to the weekly list put out by the state.
The number of cases at Symphony of Joliet now is listed at 93, and numbers increased significantly at several nursing homes.
The Illinois Department of Public Health now lists 15 long-term care facilities in Will County as having 327 cases of COVID-19 and 57 deaths from the virus.
That’s up from the previous week when 12 facilities were listed as having 218 cases and 36 deaths.
