For the second year, several Elgin-area barbershops will provide free haircuts for students in need before they head back to school.
Haircuts and hairstyles will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Boys and Girls Club of Elgin, 355 Dundee Ave., Elgin. It is open to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
