NAPERVILLE, IL — Two men are safe after their kayak flipped on the DuPage River Sunday afternoon, leaving one man stranded on a nearby island.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 1:15 p.m. and arrived with a special rescue team. One of the men had swum to an island north of Hobson, where he became stranded.
