The Naperville Police Department has teamed up with Cassidy Tire and Service to host an upcoming program aimed at deterring catalytic converter thefts in the city.
The Nov. 13 program, which will offer free ID numbers to be spray painted on catalytic converters, comes after 48 catalytic converters were stolen in Naperville between July 1 and Oct. 1, according to police.
