For more than a decade, at the bottom of the page before the back page, Positively Naperville has featured “Lasting Impression,” an idea presented to us by graphic artist Tom Tortorich. We are grateful. Even after the designer moved out of the area, we’ve continued to fill that space with a memorable photo and a brief caption to wrap up each edition. A number of longtime readers have told us the look forward to it, saying it’s the first place they look when they pick up PN.
For November and at our request, PN’s Lasting Impression featured a photo provided by artist Sangeeta Pante, taken outside Edward Hospital.
Its caption in the publication noted that the Edward Hospital Gratitude Mural is a “tribute to all doctors, nurses and frontline workers for their dedication during the pandemic. Recently the mural was accepted by Brett Skeen, Executive Director of The Edward Foundation, and Dr. Daryl Wilson, member of the Edward Foundation Board of Trustees and a board-certified medicine physician.”
