Effective Jan. 1, 2020, if you have an older model AC unit that uses the refrigerant, Freon (also known as hydrochlorofluorocarbon 22, AKA: HCFC-22), you could be left out in the COLD!
The United States will no longer produce or import the refrigerant so make sure to check your unit ASAP to make sure if you are going to need to grab a new unit or replacement unit with the end of summer savings at your local dealer.
