NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville recently made a big change to its parking policy that will do away with permit parking for commuters as the city shifts to daily fee parking in its Metra lots. The permits will be phased out by Jan. 1, 2024.
The first phase started March 8, when the city stopped issuing new commuter permits, unless those permits were for reverse commutes.
