DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — The number of daily new coronavirus cases in DuPage County continues to decline compared to recent weeks. As of Sunday evening, there had been 22 new cases diagnosed in the last 24 hours and no deaths were reported, according to DuPage County Health Department records.
In total, DuPage County has reported 8,944 coronavirus cases and 493 deaths.
The news comes as cases in Illinois reach 141,723. The statewide death toll from coronavirus was at 6,888 as of Sunday and the recovery rate was 94 percent, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
