Here in the Midwest, it’s going to take a little more than some ice and snow to keep us from enjoying a frosty beer — emphasis on the frosty.
The Naperville Ale Fest — Winter Edition runs from 12 to 4 p.m. Feb. 23 at Frontier Park in Naperville.
Josh Seago, president of Ale Fest presenter Lou Dog Events, said the fest will feature more than 150 American craft beers and food from 10 Chicagoland food trucks.
They are expanding on some things they’ve done in past years, he said.
“The past couple years we’ve done a hot, hard cider, where we take a hard cider from 2 Fools Cider and we warm it up and serve it warm. It was a huge hit last year so we’re expanding that and doing two different hot ciders this year.
