Four residents from Naperville’s south side urged the Indian Prairie District 204 School Board Monday to oppose plans to build for more than 300 single-family homes and a new church at Route 59 and 103rd Street.

But Indian Prairie has little say over how land is developed other than to suggest what they prefer — something that generates a great deal of property tax revenue without adding students, officials say.

Beyond that, the board stays out of the process, board President Michael Raczak said.
