Kansas Woman Dies In Madison County, Arkansas Motorcycle Crash
CLIFTY, AR — A Kansas woman has died following a motorcycle crash in Madison County, Arkansas, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police.
Victim Identified
Officials identified the victim as 35-year-old Amanda Stonebraker of Goff, Kansas. The crash occurred on September 27 around 3:05 p.m. along State Highway 23 near Clifty.
Stonebraker was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by a 49-year-old man from Eureka Springs. According to investigators, the driver attempted to avoid a slow-moving vehicle, causing the motorcycle to veer into a ditch before it overturned as it reentered the roadway.
Driver Injured, Conditions Clear
The driver sustained injuries in the crash but survived. Police noted that road and weather conditions were clear and dry at the time of the accident. No other vehicles were directly involved.
