NAPERVILLE, IL — A 42-year-old Chicago man sustained life-threatening injuries and two other people were hurt after a crash involving a Freightliner truck and a Dodge Charger on Route 59 in Naperville Tuesday afternoon.
Police and firefighters were called to Route 59 and Platinum Avenue just before 1:10 p.m. to respond to the crash. They say a preliminary investigation indicates the 2007 Dodge Charger driven by the 42-year-old man crossed the road’s median and hit the Freightliner truck, which was driven by a 36-year-old Chicago man.
