Edward Hospital’s EMS (Emergency Medical Services) “Run of the Quarter” for July-Sept. 2019 has been awarded to the Naperville Fire Dept.
On Sept. 9, Naperville Fire Department Medic 9 and Engine 9 responded to a call of a man at Nike Park who was unconscious, unresponsive and gasping for air.
While the Fire Department was on its way, bystanders performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the patient, who was playing tennis for about 10 minutes before the incident.
