The Naperville Hispanic Heritage Festival is planned from 11AM to 9PM Sat., Sept. 18, in Central Park, located at 104 E. Benton Avenue in downtown Naperville.

Hosted by the Naperville Sister Cities Foundation, the new event aims to celebrate Mexican culture with food, art and music while recognizing Mexican Independence Day.

“There will be a small Mexican marketplace and music in Central Park. Other events will be held downtown including a scavenger hunt with a chance to win a $100 downtown Naperville gift card. There’ll be a bilingual story time, and community art on Jackson and Eagle,” said Bill Donofrio for the Sister Cities event.
