To help with the ongoing need for blood donations during the coronavirus pandemic, Naperville Park District plans to continue hosting donation opportunities at its Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois.
The drives are held in Community Hall on the upper level of the community center, which has plenty of space for social distancing.
The Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center is located at 305 W. Jackson Ave. in downtown Naperville.
New dates are being added each week and some of the blood drives located at the community center are sponsored by other community groups, including churches.
On Saturday, Dec. 12, St. Raphael Catholic Church will host a blood drive at the community center from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
