During National Volunteer Week, which is April 16-22, 2023, the Naperville Park District recognizes all of the volunteers who support its mission, with special thanks this year to student volunteers from Naperville Community Unit School District 203 and Indian Prairie School District 204. Nearly 300 students have served as Naperville Park District volunteers from January 2022 until the present, assisting with special events, park cleanup, administrative tasks and special projects. The students lend support to the Park District, and in turn, gain experience and community service hours.
