NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville Police Department will be on the lookout for distracted drivers throughout the month of April as part of a statewide campaign for Distracted Driving Awareness Month.
Over 200 law enforcement agencies throughout Illinois are increasing enforcement for the safety initiative. Drivers will notice enforcement zones and increased patrols throughout Naperville and officers will be issuing tickets to drivers who are spotted on their cellphones or texting while they drive.
