NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville teacher has been chosen as a finalist for the 2023 Golden Apple Awards for Excellence in Teaching.
Brian Horner, who teaches fourth and fifth grade at Meadow Glens Elementary School, aims to craft a “socially conscious classroom that reflects the background of his students and aims to find common beliefs amongst them to bring them together,” a news release from Golden Apple Foundation said.
