NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville’s annual Parade of Lights has been canceled for 2020. The decision to cancel the Nov. 27 parade was made by Little Friends and the Downtown Naperville Alliance “in accordance with State of Illinois’ Restore Illinois Plan,” according to a news release.
“We are saddened that we must cancel our parade this year, but it is out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all our participants, volunteers, and the public who would have attended this event that we reached this difficult conclusion,” Mike Briggs, President and CEO of Little Friends said in the news release.
