Oklahoma City Man Charged With Murder After Deadly Intentional Crash” ‘I’m Going To End This’

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A man accused of intentionally causing a fatal crash that killed two people — including his partner and an innocent driver — is now in custody. Police say the suspect, Aaron Taylor, told his partner’s mother moments before the collision, “I’m going to end this.”

Police: Crash Was Intentional

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, the crash happened on September 12 along Wilshire Road near Kelley Avenue in northeast Oklahoma City. Investigators said Taylor was behind the wheel of his speeding car with his partner, Siera Gamble, as an unwilling passenger when he swerved into oncoming traffic, striking another vehicle head-on.

The second driver, Jonathan Wooldridge, was leaving his shift at a nearby Dollar General when Taylor’s car crossed the center line. Both Wooldridge and Gamble were killed on impact.

“He’s very sweet, you go in the store, he always has a smile on his face,” said Tonya Brown, a local resident who knew Wooldridge.

Prior Domestic Dispute

Police said the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute. Taylor allegedly assaulted Gamble before forcing her into his car. Officers later found her vehicle nearby — still running, with the key in the ignition.

During the confrontation, Gamble’s mother reportedly called Taylor, asking about her daughter’s safety. Taylor allegedly replied, “I’m going to end this right now.” The mother said she could hear her daughter yelling, “Mommy!” before the call abruptly disconnected.

Suspect In Custody

Taylor, who was hospitalized in critical condition following the crash, has since been released from medical care and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center. He faces two counts of murder and one count of kidnapping and is being held without bond.

Court records show that Taylor had previously been arrested in 2022 following another domestic violence dispute involving Gamble, though that case was later dismissed.

Community Mourns Two Lives Lost

Neighbors and friends say both victims were well-known in their community. “I always knew she was a good Samaritan, a great mom. A lot of people looked up to her,” said Natashia Colbert, a nearby resident who heard the crash.

“Both of them were good people; they didn’t deserve it,” added Brown.

The case has reignited local conversations about domestic violence prevention and the dangers faced by victims trying to leave abusive relationships.
