Oklahoma City Police Investigate Hit-And-Run Near Scissortail Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash near Scissortail Park after two trucks collided late Friday night, leaving one vehicle pushed into a crowd of bystanders.

Collision Near Downtown

The crash happened just after 9:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Oklahoma City Boulevard and South Robinson Avenue, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD). Officials said the impact sent one of the vehicles toward a large group of people standing on a nearby corner.

Despite the dramatic scene, no serious injuries were reported. Emergency crews responded quickly, and witnesses helped officers identify the vehicles involved.

Suspect Fled On Foot

Authorities confirmed that the driver of one of the trucks fled the scene on foot immediately after the crash. Police have not released a description of the suspect or any identifying details about the vehicles.

Investigators are reviewing nearby surveillance footage and witness statements to track down the driver who left the scene.
