One thing has remained constant since Julie Rothenfluh starting working for the Naperville Public Library in 1997.
“The library is all about access,” Rothenfluh said. “What’s changed is access to what things.”
Rothenfluh, who’s served as executive director the last six years, announced she’s retiring from the library in June.
“I never expected to be here for 22 years, but it was such a tremendous place to work,” she said in a news release. “This is an amazing organization with an amazing staff.”
