NAPERVILLE, IL — The Chicago FBI is searching for a pair of serial bank robbers after two bank robberies and one attempt in Chicago’s suburbs Monday. FBI authorities say the pair robbed banks in Lombard and Wilmette before attempting to rob a bank in Naperville.

A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information that leads to an arrest.

According to FBI Chicago, the duo robbed PNC bank at 2810 South Highland Ave., Lombard around 1:45 p.m. before heading to Wilmette less than an hour later and robbing a Byline Bank Branch at 3245 Lake Ave.

Naperville Police were called to Fifth Third Bank at 1311 Ridgeland Ave, just after 4:15 p.m. for a report of a robbery in progress. When they got to the scene, they found a Green Dodge Challenger fleeing the parking lot. Police pursued the car east on I-88, but lost sight of it near I-294.
