NAPERVILLE, IL — A special brush collection is planned in southwest Naperville for residents who were impacted by an EF-0 tornado that touched down near Route 59 and 95th Street early Saturday. No one was hurt and no homes were damaged during the storm, according to city officials.
The Naperville tornado touched down at 5:41 a.m. and cut a path through 4.5 miles, reaching wind speeds of 85 mph. The storm damaged trees and at least one business, in addition to causing at least six gas leaks in a strip mall.
