Rick Poole spent a month and a half waiting for the right weather conditions to ascend to the world’s highest peak.
When the chance finally opened up late last week, the Naperville man never imagined the final leg of his journey up Mount Everest would be met with hours of waiting in a single-file line and climbing over dead bodies for a mere 10 minutes of touching the heavens.
