“I’m gonna get her.”

“Why are you so fat, so stupid, so crappy?”

“Knock on her front door and kill her.”

These are just a few of the social media posts directed toward a Naperville eighth-grade girl with disabilities by bullies last school year, said Jeffrey Rabin, president of the board of directors of NAMI DuPage, an organization dedicated to helping those affected by mental illness.

Rabin was one of three guest panelists addressing the issue of social media and its impact on youth at a forum Monday hosted by U.S. Rep. Bill Foster, D-Naperville, at the Yellow Box theater in Naperville.
