DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — DuPage County has seen 256 new coronavirus cases and seven deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). In total, there have been 69,900 coronavirus cases and 1,075 deaths in DuPage County as of Thursday, Illinois Department of Public Health reports.

The news comes as total cases in Illinois reach 1,086,333. The statewide death toll from coronavirus was at 18,520 as of Thursday and the recovery rate was 98 percent, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
