NAPERVILLE, IL — Naper Settlement’s most recent exhibit pays homage to the city’s firefighters, with stories, equipment, uniforms and other historical artifacts. A Strong Back and A Strong Mind: 150 Years of the Naperville Fire Department will be on display at Naper Settlement through the end of the year.

“This exhibit is very artifact-driven, and it really puts an emphasis on the depth, complexity, and impact of the fire service on the community,” Christine McNulty, chief curator at Naper Settlement, shared in a statement.

Visitors can see the exhibit in Naper Settlement’s Pre-Emption House, where artifacts and displays can be found in four galleries.
