NAPERVILLE, IL — The final phase of repairs and upgrades to the Naperville Metra station is expected to start Monday. The upgrades, which include replacing the station’s north and south doors, are set to be completed by Jan. 28, if weather permits.
Construction will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the majority of the work being done during midday hours to minimize the impact on commuters. Officials say work vehicles may be present for 5 to 10 minutes to drop off materials during the morning and afternoon rush times.
