NAPERVILLE, IL — A fire tore through the floor of a home in Naperville Wednesday morning, causing roughly $250,000 in damage to the property.

Firefighters were called to the 800 block of Cardiff Road just after 8 a.m. for a report that black smoke was coming from the home’s roof.
