Elan Burger remembers lamenting to his friend, Sahar Sander, that he couldn’t get good Middle Eastern food close to his home in Naperville.
He was tired of having to drive to Chicago to find a restaurant, he said.
And that’s when the thought hit him: “Why don’t we open a place here in Naperville?”
In 2009, Burger and Sander opened their first Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill together in an old Taco Bell building on Ogden Avenue.
