Above / Signs around town are reminders that donations of nonperishable items are greatly appreciated for the Stamp Out Hunger Letter Carriers’ Food Drive planned for Sat., May 14, 2022.

The National Association of Letter Carriers and the National Rural Letter Carriers Association will partner with Loaves & Fishes Community Services during the 30th Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Each year, residents are encouraged to place healthy, unexpired, nonperishable items in bags by their mailboxes on Sat., May 14,for collection by postal carriers and Loaves & Fishes volunteers.

In 2019, during the last Naperville Stamp Out Hunger, more than 86,000 pounds of food were collected from the food drive in support of families that visit Loaves & Fishes for grocery assistance.

With the nation experiencing dramatic increases in the prices of food, gas, and other basic necessities, food pantries have seen a tremendous increase in need. Loaves & Fishes has seen record numbers of people needing assistance.
