NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville Police Department is prepping to crack down on impaired drivers and seatbelt violations this St. Patrick’s Day. The crackdown, which is part of the statewide “Click It or Ticket” and “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaigns, aims to help keep roadways safe during one of the deadliest holidays of the year.
In a statement, Naperville Police Department Sergeant Ricky Krakow said, “We urge our residents and visitors to enjoy St. Patrick’s Day responsibly. We’ll be out in force to keep impaired drivers off the roads and help ensure that everyone makes it home safely.”
