NAPERVILLE, IL — Robert Lee has been appointed as the new deputy chief of the Naperville Police Department. Lee, a 26-year veteran on the force, will replace Kathy Anderson as deputy chief when Anderson retires at the end of 2019.

Lee got his start as a patrol officer is 1994. Since then, he has served as a special enforcement unit detective, property crimes detective, violent crimes detective, and a special response team operator. In 2013, he was promoted to sergeant and then to commander in 2014.
