NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville man is being held on $250,000 bond after police say he hurt a DuPage County Sheriff’s Office Deputy while resisting arrest. Nathan Pope, 40, of the 100 block of E. Bailey Road, was charged with resisting or obstructing a peace officer with injury.

According to prosecutors, a deputy tried to take Pope into custody after Pope appeared in court regarding an outstanding arrest warrant.
