NAPERVILLE, IL — Naper Settlement is taking a big first step in its ongoing efforts to spotlight local women by hosting HERstory. HERstory, which will celebrate the centennial of the 19th Amendment passing, is looking for personal stories from local women and nominations of standout females.

Selected stories will be used in museum media, exhibits, social media posts, public art pieces and more as part of the HERstory campaign.

In a statement, Naper Settlement President and CEO Rena Tamayo-Calabrese said, “We’re honored to be the storytellers and keepers of Naperville’s history, past and present. HERstory is an exciting opportunity to tell an inclusive story of the amazing women in our community.”
