Spend an enchanted evening at Mayslake Hall discovering fantastic creatures and the magic of nature at “Wizards, Wands and Wildlife” 6 – 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, and 3 – 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, at Mayslake Peabody Estate at 1717 W. 31st St. in Oak Brook.

Witch and wizard families will be welcomed in the great hall where they will meet their teachers, take magical photos, and receive wands to prepare for the evening ahead. As the magical courses begin, participants will learn about nocturnal creatures, insect transformations, and the ways wildlife find food. They’ll even solve mysteries by investigating real animal bones.

Participants are invited to dress in their favorite magical attire for the evening. Free refreshments will be available, and participants can purchase their own stuffed cuddly creatures at the gift shop. The program costs $15 per person and is for ages 8 and up; under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Register online or at 630-942-6200.
