AURORA, IL — Texas Roadhouse’s anticipated move from Naperville to Aurora is complete. The weekend-long grand opening for the newly constructed steakhouse starts Friday.

The new state-of-the-art restaurant, located at 986 N. Route 59 on Aurora’s far east side, can seat up to 319 guests — 50 more than the previous Naperville location, according to Chief Communications Officer Clayton Muhammad.

The 8,000-square-foot Aurora restaurant — occupying the former Sweet Tomatoes that closed in 2016 — replaces one located off North Aurora Road at 2856 Patriots Lane in Naperville.
