A Naperville 17-year-old has started a free tutoring service that she says is aimed at boosting education for middle school students and creating a sense of community by letting middle and high schools students interact.

A senior at Neuqua Valley High School, Rewa Narsana said her Zooming Tutors allows high school students to provide free, virtual, one-on-one tutoring.

“The first benefit is to gain a stable education,” Rewa said.

Rewa said she’s found middle school students crave the interactions she’s helping foster, especially with older students. “They really enjoy the ability to talk to someone new,” she said.
