Three 15-Year-Old Girls Missing from Augusta Group Home, Richmond County Sheriff Searching
AUGUSTA, GEORGIA — The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating three missing 15-year-old girls who disappeared from a group home in Augusta earlier this week.
The missing teens have been identified as Destinee Vaughn, Sarah Beard, and Trinity Armour. All three were last seen around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Leading Everyone to Success Group Home, located at 5007 Old Waynesboro Road in Augusta.
Last Seen Leaving on Foot
According to investigators, the girls left the home on foot and have not been seen or heard from since. Deputies said Destinee Vaughn and Trinity Armour were both wearing all black clothing, while Sarah Beard was last seen wearing a black hoodie and pink pants.
The group home staff reported the teens missing after they failed to return later that evening. Despite searches conducted in the area, no confirmed sightings have been reported.
“We are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of these girls to contact us immediately,” the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. “Their families and caregivers are deeply concerned for their safety.”
Ongoing Search Efforts
Law enforcement officers have been canvassing neighborhoods near Old Waynesboro Road and coordinating with nearby jurisdictions to distribute the teens’ photos. Investigators are also reviewing surveillance footage from nearby streets and businesses to track their movements.
Authorities believe the girls may still be together but have not ruled out the possibility that they could have traveled outside the county.
How to Help
Anyone with information about Destinee Vaughn, Sarah Beard, or Trinity Armour is urged to call the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at 706-821-1080.
Residents are encouraged to check their home security cameras, doorbell footage, and local businesses for any possible sightings from Thursday evening onward.
Officials emphasized that no detail is too small to help bring the girls home safely.
