Strong Storms Racing East at 48 MPH

The storm cluster is moving rapidly eastward, meaning impact times will be short and conditions can change very quickly. Radar is showing intense red and orange returns indicating heavy rainfall cores currently pushing through Kent and Ottawa Counties with additional cells moving through southeastern Muskegon County.

The fast storm movement means residents have very little time between the first signs of approaching weather and the arrival of the strongest conditions. Stay indoors and away from windows until the line passes through.
