NAPERVILLE, Ill. — After more than a month away from competition following the Christmas break and New Year break, the North Park University men’s and women’s track & field teams competed at the Cardinal Opener this past weekend. Clark Fremouw earned a second-place finish with a 12.77 meter mark in the shot put while Patrycja Miazek climbed to fourth all-time in the 3,000 meter race with a time of 10:49.51.

“Very proud of this young group of athletes this past weekend,” said Coach Kidane. “It’s been a very, very short week for us having a meet coming straight out of the winter break. The good news is we got everybody through this meet healthy for the most part and we get to look forward to traveling this week up to Ripon College.”
