NAPERVILLE, IL — Most of the crimes committed in Naperville to date in 2023 have been property crimes, according to the police department’s recently released Mid-Year Crime Statistics. The report, which evaluates data from crimes reported in Naperville Jan. 1 through June 30, also showed there had been no murders in the city during the first half of 2023.
According to the report, property crimes have been most prevalent in Naperville during the first half of 2023, accounting for 65 percent of crimes reported in the city.
