Children ages 5 or older can receive their initial dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesdays, Nov. 17 and Dec. 8. It is also open to those eligible for a booster shot. The vaccine clinics will be 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St. in Wheaton.
The DuPage County Health Department will administer the vaccines. Register at garychurch.org/registrations or simply show up.
